BizByOwner defines personal or personally identifiable information to include only the following information: your name; business name; phone number; e-mail address; username; password; last BizByOwner module completed; last information page saved; and the date of purchase (“Personal Information”). Your credit card information is retained off line for billing purposes only.

BizByOwner does not share, sell, or rent any of your information, personal or otherwise, to any other party, unless required by law. Personal Information and any other information about you or your business is available to BizByOwner and its contractors exclusively for the purpose of delivering BizByOwner services.

BizByOwner may collect Personal Information when you use certain services on our website or when you visit cookie-enabled web pages. BizByOwner uses this Personal Information to fulfill requests for our services, to contact subscribers regarding changes to our website or our business, and to customize the content that you might see on the BizByOwner website. BizByOwner offers a dynamic suite of online services. To fully utilize our services, you will provide detailed information regarding your business operations, financial information and other confidential data. You use this information to utilize the BizByOwner services.

When you subscribe, you will create a username and password during the registration process. This username and password shall provide you with access to the BizByOwner services. You will use this username and password to complete the various modules and access the many resources offered by BizByOwner. Additionally, you may elect to create and provide a unique username and password to potential business purchasers. You may create unique usernames and passwords in order to provide access to such potential business purchasers to your individual business marketing web page, also referred to as your Online Presentation. You control access to your business marketing web page, and the selected confidential business information contained therein, by determining the individuals for whom you create and share these unique usernames and passwords. In order to afford greater protection over your business marketing web page, BizByOwner gives you the ability to easily change and delete these unique usernames and passwords as often as you like, through the Secure Web Page Manager. You may only disclose your usernames and passwords consistent with the terms and conditions contained in the BizByOwner Terms of Use agreement.

BizByOwner recommends that you obtain a signed Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreement prior to providing any third-party with access to your business marketing web page.

Cookies

BizByOwner uses “cookies” to help personalize your service. A cookie is an element of data that a website may place on your computer hard disk. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can always be viewed by a web server in that domain that issued the cookie to you. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie. BizByOwner does not store your credit card information on-line.
